About Me

Hello! I have lived in the great state of Arkansas my entire life. Arkansas is truly a beautiful place to live, with all of its natural beauty. There are lakes, rivers, mountains and hiking trails to see and enjoy. Even though I have always lived in Arkansas, I find myself wanting to pack a bag and visit new places quite often. Speaking of traveling, we just returned from a vacation friendly spot in Branson, MO, where we went to Silver Dollar City, it was great. My family and I love to travel, see new places and enjoy great food. Who doesn’t like to eat, especially when it is good tasting food that you can savor. I have the opportunity to eat delicious food all week long. My wife is a culinary student, on her way to being an awesome chef by the way, and she is always cooking the best food you have ever tasted. I have been married for going on twelve years to my beautiful wife and best friend, Teresa. I do not know where I would be if it was not for her constant encouragement in my life to follow my dreams, she is truly an amazing woman. I also have to wonderful children that bring happiness to my life every day. My little girl's name is Stella; she loves soccer and wants to work with dolphins when she grows up. My son's name is Isaac and he loves baseball, space and wants to work on space equipment when he grows up. My hobbies include; my favorite sport which is baseball, hiking, fishing, hunting, going on vacations to new places and spending time with my family. I have been attending Henderson State University for the past several years. I lost my job do to a lack of work at the factory in August 2009. Every since then I have attended college to make a better life for my family. When I first started school I was unsure what I wanted to be when I grew up, however after the first few semesters I figured it out. I want to be a teacher that inspires, encourages and instills hope into the lives of students around me. Students need someone in their life that will help them to accomplish their dreams in life and I want to be that person. So, I am starting this blog to share my personal journey to a job for the past several years. My family and I have traveled along many curvy roads but it has been worth every mile of the journey. Graduation is coming soon and with it brings exciting adventures with every new door that is opened. So come and join with me on my journey to a job.

  1. I also love living in Arkansas. I can't picture myself anywhere but here. You sound like you love your family just as much as I love mine, and that is awesome!

  2. I have always wanted to travel as well! Hopefully once I graduate I will be able to afford it. 12 years is a great accomplishment for a marriage! It's inspiring to see couples be married for that long. I say that just because I've watched my parents divorce, and so many others. Keep working hard at family life and career!
